Warranty information
The Horsebox Workshop provides a 3 month mechanical warranty on all horsebox sales. Additionally, all new build sales are also covered by a 12 month warranty on the body/conversion.
Below is an example of our standard warranty agreement.
Horsebox Workshop warrants against mechanical defect for three months from the date of sale.
The warranty covers for failure or breakdown of all mechanical parts (excluding
electrical) and reasonable labour charges. Replacement parts to be supplied by
ourselves or by the customer’s garage dependent on the agreement of
Horsebox Workshop. We do strongly advise breakdown cover is taken out.
ANY WORK CARRIED OUT WITHOUT THE PRIOR AGREEMENT OF HORSEBOX
WORKSHOP WILL NOT BE COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. IT IS IMPERATIVE
THAT IF A CUSTOMER WANTS TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY
THAT THEY CONTACT HORSEBOX WORKSHOP BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT
OF ANY REMEDIAL WORK.
Horsebox Workshop will normally accept warranty work being carried out by
the customer’s garage. If agreement cannot be reached the horsebox must be
returned to Horsebox Workshop for repair.
For new builds the warranty on the body extends for 12 months.
Damage from accidents, horses(!), or neglect are not covered by this warranty.
Customers are advised to read the care and maintenance information provided
with the horsebox. It is important to check oil and water before every journey
and warning lights should never be ignored.
All vehicles are open to inspection by third parties to the point of sale.
